YOUR ENQUIRY
Privacy information
How Sudbury Drainage, an independent local enquiry service, handles your information.
Who handles your enquiry
The website owner operates Sudbury Drainage and is responsible for handling enquiries received through this site. To contact the owner about your information, use the form below, choose “Not sure yet” and explain your request. We do not operate a drainage team.
What we collect and why
The form sends your name, email address, property postcode, selected service and message. We use these details to receive, review and respond to your enquiry. Your email address is used as the reply address. This handling serves our legitimate interest in responding to requests that visitors choose to send. Please do not include payment information or unnecessary sensitive details.
Email delivery and business connections
Messages are sent through Resend to the owner's Gmail inbox. Resend and Google process the email as service providers; their services may process information outside the UK under their own service arrangements. Form submissions are not stored in a website database or used for mailing lists or unrelated marketing.
To help you find local help, we may share your name, email address, property postcode, selected service and message with up to three local drainage businesses that carry out the relevant work in Sudbury and the surrounding area. They may contact you about your enquiry. Before sharing, we will explain the proposed connection and ask for your agreement. Sending the form does not authorise publication of your details or confirm a booking.
Retention and your choices
Correspondence remains in the owner's mailbox while needed to handle and follow up your enquiry, or where keeping a record is necessary for an unresolved complaint or legal obligation. It is not automatically deleted when you close this page. You can ask for access, correction or deletion, or object to the use of your information, using the form below. Any reason for retaining correspondence after your request will be explained.
Website operation
There are no analytics scripts, advertising cookies, visitor accounts or attachment uploads. Standard server requests can record IP addresses for operation and security. The contact endpoint uses the IP address transiently for rate limiting, disables ordinary access logging and does not log message content.
If sending fails, the entered text stays in your browser so you can retry. A success response means the email provider accepted the message; it does not guarantee inbox delivery. External source links take you to websites with their own privacy policies.
Concerns
Contact the owner first about your information. You can also raise a data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
